Don’t mess around–turn your dirty baby food pouches into a sweet new bib with this Friday’s TGI..DIY project!

This week, using 5-6 empty baby food pouches, an old T-shirt, and a few other household tools and materials, you will be able to create a cute, colorful baby bib.

Help your littlest upcycler rock this completely one-of-a-kind garment or give it to a friend.  Once you have your used (and cleaned) baby food pouches, you can find out how to make this unique bib using our step-by-step PDF. Or check out our instructional video on our YouTube channel.

Our instructions are just a guideline to creating your own handy, upcycled mommy-approved bib! Feel free to use other upcycled materials to decorate your favorite eco-baby’s new bib so it’s just as special and unique as he or she is!

Be sure to show the world your creation and spread the idea of upcycling to your friends and family and/or post a picture to our Facebook or Twitter page.

This fun activity is a great way to spend a couple hours and, more importantly, it redirects waste from landfills. If you want to discover more ways to lessen your impact on the planet, check back next week for another TGI…DIY project from TerraCycle!
