Every Monday, our global teams select the three (3) most creative posts from around the world as winners of $100 in TerraCycle® points through the #KeepOnRecycling global social media contest

Here are the week’s winners:

  1. Carrie Coon on Instagram– United States

American actress Carrie Coon (The Leftovers, Fargo) explains to her followers that while so much of the stuff we throw away is tracked for the trash, ALL OF IT is technically recyclable. Using two types of Zero Waste Boxes, the municipal program, and her local retail drop-off for films, this Critics’ Choice Television Award-winning artist is dedicated educating and spreading awareness in addition to reducing her individual impact!

2.  whisperwhoo on Instagram – United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is going strong with another top entry from a collection recycling for a cause. Many of TerraCycle’s National Recycling program are not only free, but feature a charity component the more you recycle. Alison Harding (whisperwhoo) is donating all proceeds to Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, a non-profit emergency service organization “ready to treat and convey COVID-19 patients by air.”

3.  Mathilde Legrand on Facebook – France

Mathilde collects old toothbrushes at home and recycles them through TerraCycle to raise funds for the Chimpanzee Conservation Center in Guinea, a place that takes in chimpanzees that are victims of poaching and illegal wild animal trafficking. A cause near and dear to her heart, she also herself worked at the organization for six (6) months, continuing her dedication to better conditions for these amazing animals.
